Hello! My name is Grace McCann and I'm a Sydney-based artist with a bachelor's degree in prop-making from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).

I love to give objects a narrative, and I connected with prop-making as an experimental and resourceful means of making one thing look like another. 

I am particularly passionate about scenic art, sculpture, display curation and prosthetics. My experience at NIDA has given me skills in digital modelling, machinery & hand tools, film & editing, live theatre, and design.

One of my aspirations as an artist is to travel the creative world and explore different practices in global film, theatre and installation.
